Inside The Osmonds - Osmond View

Do you wonder how The Osmonds feel about seeing
someone else portraying their lives in a movie?

I couldn't be happier having Ryan Kirpartick play my life in the
movie "Inside the Osmonds." It was a pleasure getting to know
him personally on the phone. We had a great chat and have a
lot in common. I think he will portray Merrill Osmond with
profound realism. ~ Merrill Osmond

I spoke with Mik on the phone a few days before the movie went into
production. He was really cool about wanting to do a good job and to
portray me as close as possible. We both couldn't believe how much we
sounded alike. We even laughed the same way. My boy Jason, spoke to
Mik as well, and agreed. My family and I saw the screen tests and we're
so happy that Mik got the part to play me. Mik and I had a good
conversation. I appreciated the fact that he wanted to know how I felt on
things, and to get a good feel on what it was like for me back then. It is
amazing how much we think alike. He was even concerned about the
kissing scene with Karen, and playing the drums. Well, I saw some
takes recently from the shoot in Canada, and he is right on the money.

It is amazing how much the little Donny looks like me. Jimmy told
me over the phone the other night that it is absolutely scary how much
the Donny and Marie actors look like we did back then. I can hardly wait
to see this. We've been going through the archives and finding footage
that has never seen the light of day that we took back in the early 70s
during what was referred to as the "Osmondmania" era. I haven't even
seen some of this footage yet, so I will be seeing it for the first time too.

to this project, and I think it will really be fun. I'm especially happy that
